Our client is looking to recruit an experienced accountant for a minimum six month contract to support the group finance function of a highly acquisitive business. Duties will be varied but will include: the production of month end accounts; production of consolidated monthly reports; productions of statutory accounts and supporting the yearend audit: integration of new reporting and company secretarial matters. There may also be some support around acquisition or post acquisition integration. This role will be for a minimum of 6 months but could develop into a longer term or permanent role within the group finance function or a subsidiary company.
The ideal candidate will be available immediately and have solid technical accounting skills, coupled with a strong commercial outlook. Manufacturing experience is essential for this role. You should be a confident communicator and strong team player, comfortable adapting to different tasks and project work in order to prioritise the workload with the rest of the group finance team.
