Robertson Bell are recruiting for a very well known health charity for a Senior Financial Accountant position. This is a pivotal position for the charity which will be engaging and challenging.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will work with the rest of the finance team to ensure a high standard of technical reporting, improving the financial processes and supervise a team to work towards completion of the annual report. The Senior Financial Accountant will lead on the production of the year-end group accounts, be the first point of call for all technical reporting issues and prepare balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard. They will be a key member of the financial accounting team and set an example for more junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountant who is looking to work in the charity sector specifically and is an excellent communicator in order to liaise effectively with the rest of the team. As a proactive and organised individual, this opportunity will be a fantastic step into a reputable charity to significantly enhance your career. There is an urgent requirement to interview however a longer notice period would be acceptable.
