Financial Accountant

Due to a demanding workload this outstanding FMCG in Cheshire are seeking a Financial Accountant for 12 months to assist on a number of duties including the Financial Accounts, Management Accounts and working closely with global entities.

This is a global position within pharmaceuticals which requires you to work across a number of teams, geographical areas and business areas. As a Financial Accountant you need to be innovative, driven and have strong business acumen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working collaboratively with Group Finance, the Deal team, IT, Operations and GFO Regional teams to understand and implement the transnational financial reporting specifics of new deals to a high standard and within tight deadlines
  
• Ensuring the accounting requirements for the accounting issues / major transactions impacting the accounts associated with divestment's/acquisition activities are clearly understood and that required changes are embedded within the delivery centre processes and procedures
  
• Delivering the contractual sales reporting to third parties for current and future product divestment's or commercialisation deals to a high standard
  
• Responding the relevant queries in a timely and accurate manner
• Identifying and proactively promoting opportunities to improve and standardise the deal/R2R process whilst considering the end to end process
  
• Supporting any relevant project work or wider business change, including supporting the wider UK based Record to Report team on relevant activities
