Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining internal controls, ensuring all accounting entries are made in accordance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies, account analysis and reconciliation and completion of financial reporting templates. Other key responsibilities in this role include:

• Month end closing process, being a point of contact for financial planning/local finance for your assigned market
• Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations along with supporting documentation
• Review and prepare accurate submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Prepare corporate tax schedules at year end
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Work with external auditors to complete interim and year end audits

In order to be considered for this role, you will be a newly qualified accountant or at finalist level. Experience reporting under US GAAP along with SAP experience are also required. Shared service centre experience is preferred but not essential. An additional language (French, German, Spanish or Italian) is also beneficial.

In return, this role is offering a base salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 plus fantastic benefits.
