Managenent Accountant

I am currently looking for a driven Management Accountant to join a fast-growing global retail brand based in Central London.

 

 

It is an amazing opportunity to join an iconic brand, and be part of their team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven management accountant that will take charge and ownership of processes and contribute to the growth of the company.

 

 

The ideal candidate;

 

CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Finalist

 

Preferably Relevant degree

 

2-3 years of experience in MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING IN THE RETAIL SECTOR

 

Immediately available

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

 

Preparation of the VAT returns (UK)

 

Compilation and reconciliation of the New reports File - Consolidated management accounts

 

Property accounting - Store by store check on applied costings and processing adjustments as necessary

 

Checking for variances against budget and investigating deviations within property accounting

 

Accounting for payroll

 

Processing and reconciliation of the accruals and prepayments

 

Completion of cost centre trackers to ensure correct recognition of costs, accruing for unprocessed invoices

 

Checking and approving turnover rent invoices

 

Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual store turnover data to vendors by the 15th of the month

 

Links and Juicy intercompany reconciliations

 

Royalty accounting

 

Ensuring period related costs for UPS, Davies turner, Keenpac are present

 

Processing of intercompany recharges

 

ILE stock transfers at month end to account for timing differences

 

Preparation and submission of the Office of National Statistics returns

 

Closing the ledgers and rolling over Nav users to the new period

 

Guiding the team on technical queries and problem solving
