Financial Accountant

My client a Stafford based international manufacturer seek to recruit a Financial Accountant to report into the Financial Controller. In this wide reaching role you will assist in the preparation, reconciliation and review of figures for all local & group financial reporting, to agreed group standards and timetable.

The role will include but not limited to:

• Responsibility for the accuracy and producing the reconciliation of balance sheet codes
• Assist in the production of the statutory accounts to comply with Group and local statutory reporting requirements
• Assist in the integration and future smooth running of single finance function being developed in Stafford
• Be confident to work with internal / external  auditors
• Monitors cash flow requirements
• Manages internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
• Adds value to the business by providing a responsive service which supports all business stakeholders.
• ERP knowledge would be advantageous and good Excel skills would also be expected.

My client is open minded to the background of the candidate and is happy to consider to a studier likely to be ACCA or a QBE. Personality and attitude will however be the critical factors as my client seeks a candidate who will challenge the numbers and look to improve processes moving forward as the finance team in Stafford grows.
