This is a newly created stand alone Group Tax Manager for a PE backed Sports Technology business based in central London
Client Details
Our client is headquartered in the UK and has operations based in the US, South America, UK, Europe and Asia. In recent years they have experienced double digit growth year on year and this year they are forecasting to exceed that growth. They have a unique product offering that is in high demand across a broad range of sports leagues, associations, federations and related bodies.
Description
Reporting to the Group FC but with a dotted line to the Group CFO also you will take responsibility for the groups tax affairs. The key areas will include:
- Oversee and embed a clear tax governance process throughout the business.
- Lead on tax strategy and advise on all key projects and initiatives, partnering with the business to advise on new business development opportunities from a tax perspective.
- Wide tax oversight across a number of territories (particularly, UK, USA, Europe and Asia) including corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT, income tax and employee mobility.
- Reporting to the management team / board in terms of tax compliance and risk management.
- Work with the business and IT teams to implement appropriate processes and systems to ensure tax compliance throughout the business.
- Oversee and approve tax compliance in key jurisdictions, working closely with external professional advisors and internal finance & operations teams.
- Support the statutory accounts and budget processes in terms of tax disclosures and liabilities.
- Responsible for external tax advisor fee negotiation and cost management
Profile
You will be a qualified Tax professional either looking for your first move from the profession or to continue your career in house. You will need to be comfortable operating in a fast environment where you will be expected to turn your attention to routine Tax work whilst also advising the board/Investors on significant strategic decisions from a Tax perspective.
Job Offer
Between £60,000 and £90,000 plus excellent bonus potential and benefits
