Credit Controller

Seymour John are currently working in an exclusive partnership with a market leading organisation to recruit a credit controller on a temporary to permanent basis. The role has arisen due to an extended period of sustained growth, that has resulted in additional credit controllers being required to supplement this busy period.

Reporting directly into the credit control supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of key accounts, covering hundreds of customers. You will be required to chase the customer for overdue debts, whilst also taking the lead on query resolution by negotiating with customers to avoid non payment of their respective accounts. A key requirement will be the creation of satisfactory payment plans and proposals, to avoid customers falling into credit issues and bad debt on their account.

Obtaining both credit references from suppliers and online reports is essential, in order to create robust credit risk evaluation for each account. You will also be required to conduct analysis by yourself, in order to check the risk of potential new customers, whilst also reviewing the risk of existing ones. You will also have the authority to stop accounts that exceed the set terms or limits.
