Axon Moore are representing a City Centre client who are looking for a trainee Reconciliations / Accounts Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis.
Job Specification:
Ideally you will be working towards possessing an Accountancy qualification or have experience of working within a Treasury department.
Job Specification:
- Support Treasury Manager to deliver an effective and efficient service to stakeholders
- Support with producing daily bank reconciliations
- Ensure payments are processed on banking platforms to deadlines
- Work closely with the Finance Team and SSC to ensure timely processing and approval of payments.
- Daily downloads of bank statements
- Support production of the daily bank reconciliations
- Support production of daily cash reports
- Banking cheques
- Provide support to ensure correct postings of daily bank transactions
- Investigate misallocated cash
- Processing all types of payment requests to deadlines
- Processing payments via the online banking system to deadlines.
- Support with the maintenance of systems, bank mandates and approval records
- Posting daily cash and bank transactions
- Provide necessary support to SSC and Finance Team
- Route and resolve requests through central email account in a timely manner
- Any other reasonable duties and adhoc requests
Ideally you will be working towards possessing an Accountancy qualification or have experience of working within a Treasury department.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language
- Previous experience of data entry / payment processing desirable
- Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a good eye for attention to detail
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Good customer service skill set, going above and beyond the call of duty where necessary
