Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Category Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have a chance to join one of the largest trusts in the UK with over 2,000 beds and a turnover of over £850m.
Job summary for the Category Manager:
- Accountable to a Senior Category Manager
- Responsible for leading specific strategic sourcing projects for defined categories
- Take a wider customer service role and champion Procurement as Business Partners through the organisation
Key Category Manager responsibilities:
- Running complex OJEU procurements
- Implementing a category management strategy
- Leading Large procurement activities
- Supporting senior category managers with contract negotiation
My client are ideally looking for a candidate with NHS experience, however, candidates who have the relevant experience across other Public Sector organisations will also be considered.
