Financial Controller

Our client is a fast growing wholesaler, who are on track for phenomenal growth in their first year. Working with one of the North West’s most successful entrepreneurs, they are looking to recruit an ambitious Financial Controller to assist with the growth of their current business venture.  

With the business in its infancy, it is an ideal time for someone to join who is keen to make a large and positive impact. This individual will lead the implementation of a new IT system, improve control and process efficiencies across the board, and provide the owners with quality MI, enabling them to make strategic decisions.

The Financial Controller will be exposed to major retailers. Therefore, the appointed candidate will require the confidence and skill to build, and manage stakeholder relationships. This is a hands on role, which will provide the successful candidate with treasury management skills, and the opportunity to manage relationships with banks and external advisors.

The appointed candidate will be a qualified Accountant with previous experience working in a wholesale/consumer goods environment. The position will offer unrivalled exposure, with the opportunity to progress to Finance Director in 2-3 years.
