Finacial Controller

A hugely acquisitive and growing organisations now recruiting a new role of Financial Controller. Having made 6 acquisitions in only 2 years and forecasting similar growth going forwards, this is not a role for the faint hearted. It is expected that this role will be hands on providing financial stewardship and operational control to a well-established and high performing team whilst partnering with the board and senior management team across both finance and operations. Key projects that this role will be engaged in will include aligning the finance and operational needs, managing a high performing team ensuring it is able to cope with the growing demands of a change hungry business that has a vision for a further 50% growth over the next 3 years!

There are few privately backed organisations that can rival such growth and ambition and rare that you will find a new opportunity and operational financial controller role that boast such prospect as this. Whilst this role will have some reporting requirements, it will actually be more operationally focused and expected to get out into the business and partner with operational leaders. It is the intention that this role will play a much more commercial position, making this an excellent opportunity to round of the skills to become a Finance or commercial Director.

Essentially this role will be targeting a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidate ideally with exposure to manufacturing not least, stock holding, supply chain and costing. As well as displaying a solid technical grounding, it is also a given that incumbent has excellent communication skills capable of challenging investors, finance and operational audiences as well as the board.
