A leading International Consultancy based in Greater Manchester are currently recruiting for an interim Head of Finance to support the CFO on a new commercial project.
The role encompasses full ownership of leading the Management Accounts team and FP&A function for a rapidly expanding business that are enjoying exciting growth. This business is seeking to add a talented Head of Finance to head up the Accounts function through a transitional period of 6 - 9 months. This period of change will involve a department restructure, an implementation of a Business Partnering function, providing process improvement on systems for commercial effectiveness and being a key stakeholder of the senior management team. You will also play an active role in monthly management meetings delivering on specific projects for the firm, and evaluating the financial impact of new business ventures.
This interim opportunity is paying between £600 - £750 per day
Role & responsibilities;
- Lead the finance function of a rapidly expanding business
- Dynamically engage with the business and spend the time required to fully understand the framework and ethos of the organisation
- Ensure the board are accurately informed on finances maintaining the highest standard of reporting
- Offer sustained and influential commercial input at board level, particularly when approaching all in house projects
- Develop, monitor, report and interpret the business' KPIs
- Leadership, management and development of the finance team
- Support the development of a buy and build strategy and planned growth
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified (or overseas equivalent)
- Have 5 years + operating at Head of Finance level within a large complex environment
- Have strong exposure in developing and maintaining systems and procedures
- Have the ability to lead FP&A, Management Accounts and Business Partnering functions
- Experience of working with non-financial stakeholders and driving finance business partnering
- Be able to demonstrate key experience of implementing or driving finance value added services across functions
- Exposure to being involved in P2P transaction service projects will be advantageous
