This is an exciting career opportunity for a Qualified Senior Level Financial Controller to take a high profile position at the UK Head Office of an instantly recognisable £1Bn t/o Global brand. In a highly visible, key role within the business you will report directly to the CFO, heading a team of 25 across Financial Reporting, Treasury & Transactions, with a remit including:

• Ensuring the continuous development of the Financial Reporting, Treasury & Transactional teams.
• Providing technical support to the finance team in relation to accounting standards & technical updates.
• Managing relations with the auditors & overseeing yearend audit work - ensuring all external, statutory deadlines are met.
• Reviewing statutory accounts . ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Overseeing the preparation of all quarterly & year end documentation.
• Reviewing monthly management accounts.
• Responsibility for balance sheet budget, reviewing submissions.
• Building strong working relations with the banks.
• Overseeing the management of the company's US$ requirement
• Ensuring business' FX strategy is being implemented and suggest improvements.
• Reviewing & approving all daily payments
• Ensuring that the treasury function is adhering to internal controls and policies.
• Responsible for the annual cash flow budget
• Working with Buying Teams and suppliers in respect of negotiating payment terms outside of standard terms

Applicants must be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with previous experience of operating in a similar profile role and managing & developing large teams. You will have strong technical skills including IFRS, Statutory reporting, Consolidation and Financial modelling and will have the natural ability to forge strong internal & external relationships at all levels. You will also have a strong technical & analytical approach and will be organised, self-motivated & proactive - thriving off a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
