Interim FD
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a part-time interim Finance Director to work with a lower-mid market private equity house on an investment that is set to complete imminently.
The Role
You will begin upon completion of the deal and be required to help manage and guide the business through its transition to PE ownership and help establish and create a finance function. The business has been family-owned for a number of years with little in the way of a fit-for-purpose finance function, so you will need to professionalise the business/finance – implementing strong processes/controls, reporting, MI, KPIs, management accounts, systems improvement etc. Once the heavy lifting has been done the business will need help from a strategy point of view, with help in expanding internationally and commercial support too.
The Requirements
We are looking for an SME FD with a solid track record within PE backed businesses, ideally with good experience pre/post deal in a similar situation. You will need to have a hands-on approach and solid understanding of what ‘good’ looks like in a PE backed SME.
