Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting for a temporary Finance Manager to work for an established FMCG company, supporting the Finance Director during a period of change. This organisation is going through some exciting structural changes and therefore requires additional resource during a busy period. This contract is expected to be an initial duration of 3 months with the potential of extension for the right candidate. Based on the south side of Aberdeen, this is an immediately available opportunity to join a company that is experiencing significant growth.

Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, month end close, preparing management reports and Cash Flow forecasting. You will support the consolidation of entity accounts into the group accounting process and will oversee and support a transactional finance team. You will be asked to undertake ad-hoc analytical reviews to support business improvement projects and will be operating in a fast-paced working environment.

What you'll need to succeed
If you are a pro-active individual with a problem solving nature, this could be the ideal role for you! The successful candidate will be an experienced Accountant, with a proven track record of working within small to medium sized businesses, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors. You will have a highly transferable skills set and ideally, you will have managed a small finance team to include sales and purchase ledger responsibility. You will be adept at working to strict deadlines and have strong IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel. You will be available to commence this contract at short notice.
