My client, a highly regarded London University are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team as they embark significant change and development.
The Management Accountant is very much a business facing finance role and main responsibilities will include;
* Regular contact with Senior Management and Functional Heads for; long term decision making, budgeting and financial planning within three of the University's entities
* Advise and train your non finance budget holders on any areas related to the budget process and all income and expenditure streams
* Support on the delivery of an array of enhancement projects
* Produce monthly/ quarterly reports on financial, KPI and non-financial data for key internal and external stakeholders
* Provide front line support to the statutory reporting team in the production of the annual financial statements
* Assist in the implementation to FRS102
The Management Accountant will not be stuck in a back room with their head in spread sheets. You will be leading on management information, lead on the production and analysis of budgets, oversee the quarterly forecast process for your business areas.
The successful candidate will be an analytical, intelligent, CCAB qualified accountant who has the ability and communication skills to build strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation. Candidates from all sectors are highly welcomed to apply as long as you have the first-hand experience of budgeting, forecasting and delivering management accounts in a notable complex organisation.
