Head of Finance

Butler Rose, a specialist finance agency within the Oxfordshire market are currently partnering with the Finance Director to recruit a Head of Finance, for a not for profit organisation.

We are currently seeking an applicant who will support operations in all aspects of finance; ensuring divisions achieve their annual financial targets and building strong working relationships with Directors. This is a high profile and visible position within the organisation and the successful applicant will be a key figure head within a finance team of 10, with 2 direct reports.

This role will involve working as part of the senior management team, improving and developing processes and controls in order to maintain the organisations financial integrity, develop business tenders and proposals, produce monthly management accounts as well as forecasts & budgets. It will also be your responsibility to produce statutory accounts.

Requirements
You will be a qualified accountant who has a passion for leading people and for ensuring that operational managers receive reliable monthly management information to inform their decisions (identifying key variances and issues for action).
You must have good Excel skills and previous experience of developing models to advise management on decisions and support tenders.
Any expertise in budget setting and budget management will help operational teams to control spend and deliver essential services to the highest standards.
