Interim Senior Financial Accountant

We are currently recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant for a private equity backed company within the retail sector, based in Central London. The company incorporated in 2010, and have seen impressive growth in both UK and European markets, opening north of 25 stores and establishing a strong ecommerce platform. This is a good opportunity for the successful applicant to work in a high growth, fast paced environment working for an impressive Financial Controller. The contract is to last an anticipated 6 month period with the opportunity to go permanent from that point onward. Day rate is £300 p/d which is negotiable both up and down dependent on experience and qualification.

The Role

More specifically as Senior Financial Accountant you will;

• Group monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to required timetable
• Responsibility of reviewing and documenting all transactional processes, and making improvements leading to shortened month end process
• Preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS, and managing the year end audit process
• Working with the Financial Controller to manage all tax affairs including VAT, Corporation and transfer pricing

The Requirements

I’m interested in speaking to Top 10 trained Chartered Accountants, ideally from an Audit background. Knowledge of private equity and the retail sector would be a huge advantage, as would immediate availability. You will have ideally worked within a similar Financial Accountant role within the past 6 months.
