Helping Sainsbury’s to make the best commercial decisions, you’re not just doing good for our business. You’re doing great things for our customers. Because it’s expertise like yours that enables us to make our customers’ lives easier every day.

Finance is an exciting part of Sainsbury’s. And you’ll be in the thick of it, helping to support and shape our future direction as part of a fast-paced team. Providing robust financial insight, you’ll play an important part in a host of commercial projects focused on our Entertainment ranges.

Stakeholders will rely on you for value added insight, support and challenge. We will look to you to embed and maintain a strong financial control environment. Crucially, you’ll use both financial and non-financial information to get to grips with the key drivers of Entertainment product performance.

Along the way to informing important decisions, you’ll enjoy a rich and varied range of responsibilities - from reporting on sales, profit and expenditure, to identifying risks and opportunities, creating budgets and forecasts, and championing systems changes. You’ll translate data into insight, and help us translate your insight into strong commercial decisions. In turn, those decisions will translate into better experiences for our customers, every time they shop with us.

To be equal to the challenge, you’ll need to be a qualified accountant, with demonstrable experience of business partnering and commercial acumen. Ideally you’ll also have experience of managing a team.

Self-motivated, you’re a real team player with a great deal of enthusiasm for this opportunity. Your flair for communicating with and influencing diverse audiences will really set you apart.
