Data Insight Analyst

Our client is a Blue Chip Telecommunications business who are looking for someone with the aptitude and character to take on this exciting opportunity to develop their career in Business Intelligence and IT. As a Data Insight Analyst you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business as a whole and providing an analytical and reporting capability to contribute to on-going development of the information supplied to the business. In addition to this by utilising a range of analytical techniques in order to solve complex business issues and produce actionable insights you will deliver new reports into the business intelligence (BI) platform. Other key accountabilities will include:

- Combine internal data and analysis with external data sources to produce actionable business insights
- Develop and maintain reports to facilitate reporting and forecasting requirements across the various divisions
- Ensure an auditable basis to business reporting and undertake regular review of data integrity issues as they may arise
- Scope requirements of new reports and changes to existing reports with all stakeholders (internal & external clients) as and when require
- Be a champion for insightful and smart use of data and analysis for decision-making

Essential skills needed to ensure success in this role are: Strong numeracy skills, educated to a degree level, be analytical and methodical in your approach to problem-solving, possess demonstrable experience of delivering project-based analysis within a customer intelligence/analytics team, demonstrate abilities in regards to compiling and analysing detailed business metrics, presentation skills and excellent knowledge and practical experience of using SQL
