Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager

Your new company
Exciting growing technology business based in Watford require an Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager to join the business on a permanent basis.

Your new role
To manage all monthly management reporting and financial planning processes within the Group
To lead development of financial planning and reporting processes within the Group to ensure high-quality processes underpin a strong business planning process to deliver the Group's strategic objectives.

Key duties
Financial Planning

  • Manage Group Planning processes - Budget, Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, Strategic Plan
  • Responsibility over planning timetables, meetings and comms across Company
  • Lead finance-wide change project on planning improvements
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure planning outputs are delivered on time, accurate and action-orientated
  • To help Head of Group Financial Planning & Reporting prepare Board and Exec Team presentations that are able to convey key messages in concise and accurate manner
  • Review financial balance sheet and cash flow projections
  • Development of high quality, efficient planning process to support delivery of an accurate and insightful Annual Budget process


Management Reporting

 

  • Help Group Reporting Accountant manage all monthly reporting processes
  • Review all Finance reporting and KPI packs produced by Group Reporting Accountant
  • Review associate reporting returns to shareholders
  • Support Head of FP&R in producing Board and Executive presentations
  • Look to drive continual improvement in monthly reporting


Other

 

 

  • Line management of Group Reporting Accountant
  • Work with Systems team to produce more insightful reporting, reduce system complexity and drive faster consolidation times
  • Support wider finance team on any commercial support

 

 

 

 


What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience within a similar role & good knowledge of planning & reporting systems. Oracle experience will be a bonus.
