We are currently working with a highly reputable services company, based in Central London, who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller, where they will consider candidates straight from practice.
Reporting into the Head of Accounting, this role will have responsibility for two members of staff and will be responsible for all the accounting responsibilities in the business.
Key duties include:
Maintenance of a full trial balance
Oversight of cash reporting
Interaction with international financial controllers
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Annual budgets for overheads
This role is ideally suited for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who has a strong background in financial control, understands ‘best practice’ and has a flair for systems.
This role requires management of non-qualified members of the team so either experience within this area or desire to develop this skill set is essential.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
