Business Systems Analyst

The Company

Brewster Pratap are delighted to be working with a financial services business based in Retford who due to a rapid growth in their business are looking to recruit for a newly created position of Business Systems Analyst.

The Job

This job will join the organisation in a period of growth and transformation and will be accountable for supporting, improving and transforming the way data and IT are used across the business.

This job will be based with the HR/Payroll team and would suit an analytical, solution focused candidate who can help in improving business efficiency and productivity and the management and analysis of data.

Liaising with departments within the business in order to understand current business processes, internal customer requirements and therefore supporting the implementation of process improvements.

Works with and influences each of the department business areas to reach an integrated solution.

Use the recently implemented HR computer system to design and deliver enhancements including the delivery of new features or improvements.

Actively participate in test planning, preparation and execution for new solutions.

Drive systems usage and continuous improvement.

Data analysis - investigates company data requirements and works with Operations to provide consistent, accurate and reliable management information in accordance with the needs and requirements of the business.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an articulate, system and procedure driven individual who works accurately with an eye for detail. They will have previous experience within a growing corporate business and must be able to work and communicate well with others at all levels. They will be able to work alone using their own initiative or as part of a team. They will actively enjoy data analysis, problem solving and identifying improvements and then be able to present them with confidence and flair. They will demonstrate high IT literacy (including advanced Excel) and data analytical skills and be able to take personal responsibility for their workload.
