Senior Financial Analyst

12 - 14 Month Contract for a qualified and experienced Senior Finance Analyst


Your new role

This is a great opportunity that's being offered on a 12 - 14 month contract.

Main Purpose of Role:

• To be an effective member of the financial and divisional management teams, producing robust, reliable, accurate financial information for the division.
• To participate in continual performance improvement through the leading and implementation of key projects and processes.
• Primary contact for the General Manager for all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Primary contact for the GM and operational teams for all financial matters.
• Ensure financial controls and processes are followed.
• Review monthly account reconciliations.
• Recommend and prepare financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and profit improvement.
• Proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the sub-division in conjunction with the GM.
• Ensuring period-end close and submissions are made on time and in full.
• Prepare re-forecasting and budgeting.
• To lead the investigation and query resolution for any issues that arises on P&Ls.
• Maintain other key performance data as required.
• Provide guidance, coaching and leadership for any direct reports

What you'll need to succeed

• Graduate qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Experience of working with and supporting operational, commercial staff across multiple locations.
• Management accounting experience
• Organised with the ability to plan and prioritise
• Able to problem solve.
• Computer literate, advanced excel skills necessary.
• To be flexible and have the ability to multi-task.
