Senior Manager/Partner Designate

This practice is a long established, successful and growing firm of accountants. They have a loyal client following and an excellent reputation in the local market. As part of the Firm's succession plan, they are looking for an individual to take responsibility for part of an existing portfolio whilst also pro-actively generating new clients of their own.

We would like to hear from candidates who enjoy client interaction and have experience of delivering a broad range of accounting services to a varied client portfolio. The majority of clients will be owner managed businesses and farmers and you will be comfortable delivering the full service offering of a general practitioner. This will include everything from accounts preparation to taxation, management accounting and audit.

As well as delivering on a technical basis, the successful candidate must be commercially astute. You might have a client following of your own but if not you will be able to demonstrate an interest and ability in developing new prospects through specific marketing and networking activity. This might also include helping to develop the Firm's online presence.

This practice has continued to increase revenue and profit in recent years and they have an appetite for further growth and development of the Firm. As a key component in the long term plan, your enthusiasm and ability will be rewarded with an increasing profit share as you demonstrate success with new and existing clients alike.

This is without doubt a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to remain in Practice for the long term. You must be ACA or ACCA qualified, comfortable working in a client facing capacity and able to demonstrate a solid and progressive track record in a Professional firm.
