My Client, an award winning International Development charity, is looking to appoint a new Management Accountant.
This role will be responsible for the monthly management reports, forecasting, development of the budget, donor reports and key performance indicators. This role reports into the Finance and Resources Director and works closely with other members of the SMT and the country office staff members.
This role is based in Kent with the possibility of relocation to central London.
The right person for this role will be a qualified or part qualified accountant who can generate and analyse financial information for key decision making, working independently and using initiative.
Preferences will be given to those with experience and familiarity with Sun Accounting package and Q&A and those with a background in International development, donor reporting and a multi-currency environment.

About the role:
- Prepare the budget verses Actual reports including variance reports
- Prepare accurately the interim and final donor reports as per the donor reporting requirements
- Reconcile donor reports by validating the coding for both income and expenditure transactions
- Inform the Finance and Resources Director of risks relating to late reporting by partners, under/over expenditure and potential losses.
- Provide the charity with financial and support on strategic and operational decision making
- Upload detailed budgets in Sun using the various reporting analysis dimensions for example nominal, cost centre, project and donor.
- Generate reports including the balance sheet monthly, including conducting monthly budget holder meetings
