An exceptional opportunity for a Finance Officer to join a delightful school in Mid Kent has arisen, which offers a real chance to be integrated in interesting, diverse and caring school. The individual will join a small but extremely friendly finance function which is fully supportive and devoted to the development of its staff.
The role will be involved in maintaining financial systems, processing orders, authorising invoices and petty cash, will act as a Treasurer for the charity, checking payroll, raise Sales Ledger Invoices and reconcile the charity bank account. Further duties will include involvement with journals, VAT returns, collate and post accruals and updating supplier contracts.
If you are passionate about working within a school environment and are competent in using Excel, SIMS and FMS, this could be the role for you. You will have worked within a finance function previously and will have plenty of enthusiasm to bring to your duties. You will be pro-active with a ‘can do’ attitude with excellent communication skills.
