Finance Manager
ABPM
ABPM are working with an East Midlands based services firm to recruit a Finance Manager for 12 month period. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant who has a technical and project accounting background with a proven capability as a starter finisher and the motivation to work independently yet collaboratively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on projects that vary in size and complexity.
- General month end accounting and month end reports of the projects.
- Producing regular reports and feeding these to stakeholders on a frequent basis.
- Raising risks, issues and opportunities, looking at ways these can be changed, adapted or put forward.
- Developing new processes and implementing new systems to ensure new processes work effectively.
- Meeting tight deadlines so everything from all departments meets as one.
- Work indepentantly and work well as a team.
- Ad-hoc duties when required.
ESSENTIAL
- To have obtained an Accountancy Qualification - ACA/ACCA/ACMA
- Have experience in both commercial accounting and management accounting in a projects based setting.
SUMMARY
This is a fast paced role in a fast paced industry. The individual will be required to prioritise their workload to meet tight project deadlines. Furthermore they must be able to work closely in a team from different parts of the business and thrive being busy.
