Finance Manager

Our client, a global group and highly sought after FTSE 100 brand, has a rare requirement, due to consistent internal promotion and talent planning, to source a dynamic Finance Manager (Operations) to join its high calibre team.

The role will be responsible for 'best in class' business partnering to the Director of Operations and Senior Management Team, ensuring all commercial opportunities and projects are identified, assessed and implemented, as well as taking ownership for Operations planning, forecasting and reporting.

Main duties include:

* Leading, developing and mentoring a team responsible for providing finance support to an area with a significant cost base (£200m+)
* Producing insightful monthly reporting packs for presentation to Senior Management
* Full ownership for planning, pricing, budgeting and forecasting processes
* Identifying and managing risks and opportunities, ensuring P&L, balance sheet and cash impacts are reflected
* Working closely with key stakeholders to identify and drive the realisation of commercial opportunities; providing commercial insight to projects, supporting business bases and contract negotiations
* Assisting with continuous improvement opportunities

Candidate skills and & qualifications required:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Minimum 2:1 degree from a well-regarded institution
* Proven track record building relationships with various stakeholders at a senior level, in a fast-paced, blue-chip environment
* Strong analytical and presentation skills
* Demonstrated capability supporting and partnering with commercial teams
* Clear ambition, drive and motivations to progress
* Confident communicator and effective leader, possessing the ability to get the most out of others and identify top performers
