Our client is a fast growing, private equity backed, multi-site international business and is in need of a new Chief Financial Officer. The business is on a healthy trajectory and after some internal reshuffling, there is a new opening for a CFO. The business operates in the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and the UK, with the head office based in central London and plans to expand further internationally.

This would be an ideal role for an experienced CFO, to join an exciting and fast growing business. Alternatively an established and motivated Group Financial Controller looking to take the next step up in their career.

Based in London, you will be managing and integrating acquisitions into the business including but not limited to the following

Roles and Responsibilities;

  • Lead the finance function - ensuring clear objectives and goals are set for all staff
  • Leading and directing the business from a financial perspective, and including being involved with the overall strategy and decision making of the business
  • Board reporting and presentation
  • Input and re-examine acquisition opportunities for the group
  • Dynamically engage with each newly acquired business and spend the time required to fully establish them as part of the group
  • Ensure the board are accurately informed on finances through managing multi-currency consolidations and maintaining the highest standard of reporting
  • Offer sustained and influential commercial input at board level, particularly when approaching acquisitions
  • Developing, monitoring, reporting and interpretation of business KPIs
  • Leadership, management and development of the Finance Team and overall business
  • Support the development of a buy and build strategy and planned growth

You will need to be:


  • Qualified Accountant preferably chartered,


  • Experienced in a CFO/FD or Group FC capacity in a complex business
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and taking responsibility of international statutory accounting, audits and consolidations in multiple jurisdictions
  • Sector-experience in Leisure, Hotels or Hospitals, or any multi-site business would be highly desirable.
  • Equally able to run the finance function as well as dealing with the operational managers within the business and non-finance aspects.
