Supply Chain Accountant

Would you like to work on a 12 months fixed term contract for one of the world's best known manufacturers? Are you a qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with immediate availability or short notice to take on a 12 months fixed term contract in Hull - The UK City of Culture 2017.

THE ROLE
-The successful candidate will work closely with the cross functional site operational team to deliver financial obligations of the factory by challenging and influencing the activities of the site
-Analysing financial performance to enable clarification and demonstration of target setting to supply chain management, operations and the regional FD
-Reviewing costs, forecasting, reviews with the leadership teams
-The role will take responsibility for being the financial representative for the operational team and will support the finance team both in Hull and one further site so some occasional UK travel may be required
-This is a challenging, fast paced role requiring skill, good technical accounting skills and the ability to liaise well across a business

THE CANDIDATE
-Qualified CIMA/ACCA (preferably), you will have a high degree of systems literacy, particularly with Excel and an enquiring, inquisitive, investigative accounting approach
-An excellent communicator and relationship builder, you are able to work well as a team showing a proactive approach and have previously worked in a manufacturing environment
-You will have immediate availability or short notice to start the contract and a commitment to fulfil the 12 month obligation.

-Based in Hull, the company has good road links to the A63 and eastern end of the M62, the Humber Bridge, Beverley and both east and west Hull villages.
