Exclusive role to Greenwellgleeson - Financial Accountant - North Birmingham - £23k - £28k

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for the position of Financial accountant for a Market leading organisation based in North Birmingham.

Job purpose

Working in the head office of this International Business the successful candidate will assist with the production and consolidation of monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

Responsibilities

*Assist with the consolidation of monthly Hyperion accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows for all companies worldwide and preparation of related reports.
*Preparation of daily and weekly cash reports.
*Assist in the production and consolidation of quarterly forecasts and annual Hyperion budget schedules of all operating companies and preparation of related reports.
*Maintenance and updating of excel-based internal reporting systems.
*Assistance in the continued development of financial reporting.
*Review of group consolidation packs during the half and full year statutory reporting processes.
*Completion of ad-hoc projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have

*2 - 3 years of experience, being part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
*Confident, inquisitive and willing to challenge data received.
*Self-motivated with the ability to meet fixed reporting deadlines.
*Good communicator, both verbal and written.
*Extremely well versed in all Microsoft packages with a focus on Excel
