Project Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting a Project Accountant for our Birmingham based client on a permanent basis. This role has a wide remit of responsibilities and will see you provide a professional business partnering to range of departments. Your activities will ensure the provision of strategic and financial management information in order to guide the senior management team towards; effective decision making, ensuring the robust and effective financial administration of capital projects, accurate revenue budgeting and the advancement of organisation's treasury strategy.

Your day to day activities will include; advice to the direction of certain projects, ensuring revenue and capital budgets for certain projects are adhered to and be able to challenge difficult stakeholders. Furthermore, as the Project Accountant, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in ensuring that they are aware of their financial and business commitments.

Ideally you will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE and have excellent experience of project accounting. You must be proactive by nature and be able to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be advanced in using Excel and have experience of modelling and be accomplished in understanding policies.
