Senior Financial Accountant

A leading manufacturing business is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the business through a period of defined growth and transition.

The role of the Senior Accountant will be take a leading role in projects to improve financial processes for the benefit of the group

Roles and responsibilities

• Support with transition from UK GAAP to FRS 102
• Assist with the creation of a robust process for preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Ensure robust control environment
• Review current VAT process and work on an improved process
• Review Transfer Pricing across the group and recommend any actions required to make the group more compliant
• Lead the reconciliation of all balances across EMEA

Personal and Professional Competencies:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• UK GAAP to FRS102 Conversion experience and US GAAP experience
• Experience of VAT across EMEA
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
• An ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and work with them to help provide valuable commercial support and business insight
• The ability to work independently and proactively.
