Commercial Finance Manager

An excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Finance Manager to join a leading and globally recognised FMCG organisation. As the Finance Manager, you will be based in Surrey and reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. Providing unrivalled business partnering to key stakeholders, you will be accountable for delivering insightful information, FP&A and the budget for crucial parts of the organisation.

As the Finance Manager, your role will entail but not limited to:

• Act as Finance business partner for Sales and Marketing.
• You will look at profitability, making recommendations based on the variances which you will highlight. You will take a close look at the profitability for any promotions or similar.
• Managing the financial performance against the plan, utilising the management accounting information and analysis which you will prepare, you will highlight any variances. You will ensure that the budget holders are accountable and aware of their budgets, reviewing and challenging when necessary.
• In addition to business partnering stakeholders in planning and delivering on certain expenditure, you will also be responsible with all budgeting, forecasting and actuals for the targets and business plans.
• You will ensure compliance to accounting policies, SOX as well as various internal controls and pricing tools.

As the Finance Manager, you will need to be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, as well as being degree educated. You will need to have experience working in either FMCG or Retail, preferably in a commercial role. As the Finance Manager, you need to work collaboratively and effectively, your role will be pivotal in supporting and driving the area of which you will business partner.
