COO / CFO

We have been retained by a leading international media organisation to source a talented COO/CFO to help drive a business transformation. 

Working as part of a new leadership team and covering all UK operations, the COO/CFO will operate as the right hand support to the Managing Director with full CFO responsibilities including strategy and including a range of further functions from IT and Legal to Production and Property. 

The UK business will be implementing a new operating model which follows recent changes made within the wider global organisation to focus more on efficiency, cost-base management and improving routes to market and underlying profitability. The COO will be a lead architect and driving force of these changes and will therefore be adept at operational management within a transformative environment. 

This role involves broad responsibility for the management of the business with a clear target to improve all business line performance from their content. The organisation enjoys marquee global brands and a well-established position within the publishing sector. Candidates will have gained considerable publishing sector experience, have a strong academic / qualification background and be high operational finance leaders who enjoy driving change but recognise how to manage diverse stakeholders in the right way.
