Financial Analyst /Financial Modelling

Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Division are representing a logistics business in Bradford that are in need of an interim for a 6 to 8 week period for a Financial Analytical / Financial Modelling project.


The business are experiencing a period of growth and along with that the Finance Director requires some project work to be carried out around setting up a document / template which allows the business to accurately trap their daily numbers for daily reporting, but to be strong enough to give good historic information while allowing them to use the same document for their future forecasting / budgeting. This project will be managed / overseen by the Finance Director.
 
You don't necessarily have to have worked in Logistics to do this role, but you do need to be someone who understands (or can get to grips with) how revenues and cost bases work and can methodically work through their data capture mechanisms within the business and then manipulate that information to give good daily reports in terms of financials and KPIs.

You will need to have good to excellent spreadsheet skills, and it would be advantageous to have experience of Macros. Good interpersonal skills are needed for this position, as there will be bumps along the road in terms of how that info is obtained / calculated, so the successful person will need to develop better ways of capturing that info.
