Finance Manager

Permanent job opportunity for an experienced, capable and qualified Finance Manager with a dynamic business.


Your new company
You will be joining a large distribution business based in Swindon with a strong organisational culture. You will work in a challenging yet exciting business where you will manage a small finance team acting as the number one onsite. You will join the business during a time of evolution and will be able to develop processes and teams internally.

Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and review prior to submission to the board
• Ensure that all relevant returns (VAT/corporation tax etc) are completed accurately and on time
• Regularly review Management Information and accounting procedures
• Regularly review with both internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation and production of Statutory Accounts
• Manage and develop small finance team on a daily basis
• Budgeting and forecasting

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualified with experience of both management and statutory accounts. You'll also need experience in VAT and corporation tax as well as experience dealing with stakeholders and negotiating terms. You'll need to be able to use pivot tables and lookups on Microsoft Excel and will ideally have experience of Sage accounts although this is not essential.

What you'll get in return
In return for this job you'll earn a salary up to £60,000 plus a number of benefits including car, pension, holiday and life assurance.
