Senior Finance Analyst - Bracknell

An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join an innovative, equity backed organisation in Bracknell. You will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the different teams, such as Marketing and Sales, helping them with financial forecasts, analysis and performance improvement. There will also be complex modelling and scenario analysis to do for strategic planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Help develop the commercial business model with analysis of supply, demand, partnership profitability and pricing.
• Support sales teams with tactical KPI and cost analysis, benchmarking across locations and sharing best practice.
• Play a pivotal role in improving our financial forecasting capability, both for internal management and external stakeholders.
• Become an expert in forecasting and analysing actuals results across the P&L, B/S and cashflow statement.
• Create detailed financial models and business cases for new market expansion.
• Lead projects to improve financial performance.
• Support the leadership team with ad hoc analysis to support decision making.
• Improve the standard and level of insight in our reporting to the Board and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Expert understanding of business drivers and how they impact financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex financial or business issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Comfortable building detailed financial models for analytical and forecasting purposes.
• A high energy team player who is ambitious, curious and enjoys solving problems.
• Confident Excel power-user
