Management Accountant

Peterborough: Cambridgeshire: The One Group have been engaged to recruit a Management Accountant- central finance, for a exceptional business with head offices in Peterborough.

The position of Management Accountant offers a great overview of the business and has exposure to a range of senior finance manager across the group

- Budget and Forecast ? Produce central finance budget and quarterly forecasts liaising with key stakeholders for all central cost centres. Responsible for updating period packs for all budget and forecast information
- Management Accounts ? Lead production of management accounts reporting against budget and forecast for all central finance costs. Responsible for populating all central finance period packs.
- Business Partnering ? Provide support to IS, Innovation Board and other areas of the business where necessary.
- Enhanced control procedures ? To provide a detailed review of the foreign business submissions and integrity of the UK balance sheet.
- Cost Centres ? Responsible for overseas cost centres that are processed centrally.
- Balance sheet reconciliations - To reconcile key balance sheet accounts ensuring all transactions are appropriately recorded.
- Monthly transactions ? Responsible for posting monthly payroll and processing business credit cards.
- Year-end audit file ? Assist the Group Finance Manager with the preparation of the year-end audit file
- Control activities ? Various activities to ensure integrity of data in Central Finance and to ensure controls are being followed.
- Role cover - where necessary provide cover for members of central finance team
- Other ? provide ad-hoc assistance where necessary to the Central GL team

Suitable applicants will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have a varied accounts back ground from either practice or Industry.
You will possess first class communication skills (both written and verbal) have the ability to form good relationships with Senior Management.
