The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will be involves in the setup of a new suite of standardized report and metrics across diverse businesses with the ultimate aim of providing timely, accurate and complete information with better insight into business performance.

Performance Management Reporting: Deliver KPI reporting, P&L Summary, P&L Overview, Send Report Roll-ups and Trend Charts.· Analyses business segment profitability and feasibility of new projects.· Assist in the period end reports; BOD packages and comparatives.· Assist in the maintenance of the reporting system IBM - Cognos TM1. BPC· Develops automated financial reporting to assist in decision making.· Creates ad-hoc analysis as required by Management.

Business Planning & Analysis: Supports development of budget plans, instructions, and schedules and maintains project time lines.· Implements user-friendly and efficient budget templates and processes. Assists in the maintenance of the budgetary reporting system (BPC) with analysis of business and user needs. Act as the region coordinator in driving the annual business plan and longer range expectations.

Opex , Cost centre allocation management: Prepare budget for operating costs across all regions and own variance analysis. Own allocation methodologies and ensure cost Centre accuracy

Other: Support and advise of M&A transactions. Act as financial advisor to several local markets in EMEA that have no local finance presence. Act as the main regional contact with the group finance function on actual for regional actual or forecast requirements. Ad hoc support as required by senior leadership.

Your Profile

The successful Senior Financial Analyst will be a qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Analyst or Part Qualified with excellent academics. You will show demonstrable experience in a regional FP&A role that has included performance reporting, budgeting , forecasting as well as driving business performance through insight. You will have a proven track record of working autonomously in a matrix structured organisation preferably with a US parent. Self-starter, ability to project manage many different issues and relentless focus on getting things done. Advance Excel/ Access skills and a good knowledge of PowerPoint are essential as is the ability to communicate strongly and effectively across multiple levels of the company and across multiple functional organisations. Knowledge of SAP and/or BPC is highly beneficial.
