International Finance Manager

On behalf of an international retail business, I am recruiting for an International Finance Manager to hold full responsibility for managing the month end financial close process.

As International Finance Manager, a key deliverable is the timely and accurate reporting of both the monthly/quarterly results alongside robust monthly balance sheet accountability. A further key part of this role is owning the European budget and monthly forecast submission, partnering with budget holders and providing them with robust reporting to enable them to manage their costs.

A solid understanding of accounting practices is key to ensure compliance with policies and where new policies are introduced review and research current practice and drive change accordingly through presenting difficult information factually and accurately. The role of International Finance Manager has responsibility for providing in depth financial information and reports which help support critical decision making.

As International Finance Manager, you will also be responsible for leading a team of 3 x Finance Analysts who are mixed between part qualified and qualified.

To be considered for the position of International Finance Manager, candidates must be/have:

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA fully qualified
• Ideally from a retail or FMCG background
• Technically up to date with accounting practices
• Proven ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment
• Very bottom line orientated, steadfastly pushes self and others for results and to exceed goals
• Must thrive in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is the norm
