Currently recruiting a Finance Business Analyst for our client a growing global business based on the outskirts of Cambridge. The Group has over 300 staff across six offices in the UK and America.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide analysis and interpretation of key financial and non-financial metrics to key business individuals.
This role will involve working directly with business managers to provide reports and analysis to support the businesses as well as working with them to prepare their budgets and forecasts. Preparation of the month end results and analysis of how the business is performing compared to budget is a core part of this role.
Key responsibilities
• Reporting of key finance and non finance metrics, interpretation of results and analysis of variances
• Communicate the results to business managers in a clear and concise way
• Assistance with budgeting and forecasting revenue and costs
• Continual improvement of information reported including using spreadsheet modelling
• Support to the Finance Business Partner for ad-hoc analysis
CIMA qualified accountant or qualified by experience. Good working knowledge in modelling and analysing data and interpretation of financial information. An analytical approach to resolving problems and finding effective solutions.
Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner and use this to influence others. Highly organised, focussed and able to manage competing priorities with multiple stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
