We’re searching for an ACA qualified Senior Group Accountant to join an exciting games company in Central London. With one of London’s most exciting businesses, you can help to shape how group finance works. It won’t just be run-of-the-mill work: you’ll be involved with ad hoc projects like acquisitions, transformations, and arrangements brought about by growth.
This is a big company, but not one which does things like anyone else.

· Responsibility to lead on key processes and influence the team’s direction
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the ownership of the Group’s consolidation entity, reviewing consolidation journals & adjustments and other ad-hoc group related entries, as well as assisting in the preparation of the group’s consolidated results.
Other roles and responsibilities will include:
Preparation of consolidated monthly/quarterly P&L and B/S commentary
Preparation of consolidated monthly/quarterly Cashflow and commentary
Preparation of the consolidated monthly management accounts
Preparation of the quarterly external reporting schedules
Supporting the Treasury, Control and Systems teams in resolving Group related accounting queries (e.g. FX, intercompany, acquisitions etc)
Ownership of the consolidation entity
Review of work completed by Group Accountant
Assist with audit queries for the Group at quarter and year end
Dealing with various areas of the business on a monthly basis to assist in understanding monthly/quarterly results
Attend and contribute to team meetings and project teams, as required, and assist in problem solving and advising on financial solutions and procedures
Providing information to support new internal accounting processes
Review and prepare SOx documentation
Adhoc Group projects/tasks as necessary
What you’ll need to have:
Qualified ACA or equivalent with strong technical accounting knowledge
Consolidation experience within industry
Public company reporting experience
Experience dealing with complex multi-currency consolidation
Strong excel & analytical skills are essential
