IFRS Technical Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at the global leading Telecommunication company based in West London, looking for an IFRS Technical Specialist.

To develop and implement of an entirely new accounting policy for the recognition of revenues and related costs.

Responsibilities include:
*Demonstrate an understanding of the products and services
*Experience of applying US GAAP and/ or accounting business combinations would be beneficial
*Driving Revenue standards, ensuring successful engagement and adoption across the company
*Ownership of key strategic and operational decisions that will be required in order to lead the development and implementation.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:

*ACA/ CA Qualified is a must.
*Audit background
*Ideally industry experience from Telecom/ IT
*Strong understanding to IFRS
*Involved in exploring or advising on the implementation of IFRS 15
*Ability to communicate with all levels
*A proven ability to interpret key financial & operational trends and gravitas to question the status quo.
*Staff management skills
