This is a 6 month opportunity working as the financial controller heading up the full finance cycle and reporting directly into the UK MD of an SME engineering business that is wholly owned by a European parent company.The responsibilities of this financial controller role will include:
+ Preparation of Financial Statements under FRS 102
+ Preparation of the UK budgets
+ Management of the P&L
+ Forecasting and variance analysis
+ Management of 2 finance team members
+ Support and management of transnational finance process
+ Preparation of VAT and tax returns
The profile that they are looking for includes:
+ Extensive experience in a financial controller or similar subsidiary head of finance role
+ Understanding of the complexities behind SME finance
+ Strong grasp over Excel and beneficial to have Pegasus Opera experience
+ Previous experience with P&L management and managing a full budget
+ Management experience
