Assistant Accountant

I am working with a prestigious global art gallery in central London to source a part qualified assistant accountant. This role will be looking after their US entities, and be reporting into the Financial Contoller in the UK.

£30,000 - £35,000

• Prepayments and accruals
• Cash flow statements
• Double entry bookkeeping
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash
• Accounts payable, credit control and accounts receivable
• Margin/Management reports
• Maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting; reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies for multiple entities;

• Managing Bank reconciliation and monitoring cash flow;
• Producing accurate and timely financial reports on multiple entities including P+L accounts, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries;

You will ideally be part qualified CIMA/ACCA and be motivated, resourceful and driven. Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels is pre-requisite.

Due to the nature of the business candidates with language skills ideally French will be looked upon favourably.
