As Commercial Analyst, you'll be a key link in managing relationships with our client whilst helping to support and drive financial performance across the Allenby Connaught contract.

You'll manage and maintain the production of Defence and Client monthly reporting models and packs.  You'll also support our Managers in each site, dealing with queries, coaching and educating on budgets and financial accounts.

A rare opportunity at this level to get involved in many varied activities and projects which will undoubtedly hone your interpersonal, influencing and overall communication skill set in addition to stakeholder management at all levels - internally and externally.

Role Responsibility:

• Provide financial support to the Commercial Finance Manager and contract management team
• Manage and maintain the production of Defence and Client monthly reporting models and packs
• Develop a commercial awareness of the contract to understand risks and opportunities
• Drive improvements in financial reporting and analyse underlying business performance
• Up skill operational line managers to help develop their knowledge and financial acumen
• Actively support the budgetary and forecasting processes
• Support in ad-hoc growth, expansion and efficiency projects

The Ideal Candidate: 

• CIMA/ACCA part qualified
• Proven experience in a finance environment
• Previous experience in MI reporting and commercial analysis
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Experienced in Microsoft Office and complex Excel spreadsheets - intermediate to advance level (V look ups, Macros etc)
• Experience of SAP
• Strong system/database design/management and extraction skills
• Effective communication skills 
• Good presentation and influencing skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
• A self-starter capable of working individually and as part of a team
