Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual to join a vibrant finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner. The role would provide support to all of the Finance and Corporate Services directorate as well as Engagement & Knowledge, Learning & Evaluation directorates.
About the role:
This role will work closely with the business and other business support teams to understand key business issues and work together to develop effective solutions to have a positive commercial impact. The role will allow the successful candidate to add real value to the business and be involved with a number of key decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of relevant, reliable and timely management information for internal and external stakeholders to the agreed standard and timescale - providing analysis, interpretation and recommendations as required.
- Delivery of effective budgeting, forecasting and planning, ensuring financial models and processes are critically reviewed on a regular basis for continuous improvement
- To produce and review referrer contract profitability models ensuring all relevant costs are taken into consideration and provide input for decision making
- Additional project responsibility may be agreed on a temporary or permanent basis to meet the business programme of growth or support individual development
- Through financial acumen and business partnering provide support for commercial and operational decision making
Key experience required:
- CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualification
- Proven track record of influencing and delivering change projects
- Clear commercial capability in evaluating, critiquing and challenging business proposals, plans and performance in a constructive manner.
- Resilient and flexible with the ability to react rapidly to challenging business requirements in a technical and challenging change environment
- IT literate with broad knowledge of MI systems, databases, forecasting and planning and budgeting tools.
- Brilliant communication, presentation, influencing and listening skills.
